Ultrasound
For clients who receive their pregnancy test at PWC, we offer a free, limited ultrasound during the first trimester.
How do I know if I need an ultrasound?
Even though our lab-quality pregnancy tests are 99 percent accurate, the only way to verify that your pregnancy is viable to carry to term is to have a limited ultrasound performed.
Essentially, you will know that you need an ultrasound when you find out that you are pregnant. A limited ultrasound is a crucial step in the pregnancy decision process, regardless of the options you are considering.
*This service is available for pregnancies between 8 and 14 weeks.

Pregnancy-Verifying Ultrasounds
At Possibilities Women’s Center, we understand that an unplanned pregnancy can feel overwhelming.
After seeing that your pregnancy test was positive, your head might be spinning. So many thoughts and feelings can rush in all at once that you might be tempted to panic. Before panicking or making any decisions, take a moment to breathe deeply.
Instead of panicking, come into the center to have an ultrasound to confirm that you have a viable pregnancy. Here you can meet with our amazing nursing and advocate teams, who want to help you make the best decision.
Ultrasound Information
An ultrasound works through the use of high-frequency sound waves to project an image of what is happening inside your uterus. This image is displayed on a screen for a medical professional to view and interpret.
